Job Description:

Pipeline Designer within K  Sustainable Technology Solutions, delivering pipeline design activities for Oil & Gas projects across Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering phases.

• Execute pipeline design activities within Concept, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas projects.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery of pipeline design and related deliverables in accordance with project requirements, international codes, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Independently perform the pipeline design scope drawings for Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, B31.8, API RP 1101, etc.) and project specifications.
• Coordinate and interface with process, piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, materials & corrosion, safety, construction, geotechnical, structural and civil teams to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor and train junior engineers; provide technical reviews and feedback.
• Ensure engineering integrity, quality assurance and document control for all pipeline-related deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, toolbox talks, and knowledge sharing.
• Support field execution and construction activities as needed, including site visits when required and as-built documentation.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience with proven delivery of onshore pipeline deliverables in Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering; EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Desirable ADNOC EPC experience and familiarity with ADNOC procedures & requirements (procurement, permitting, interfaces, etc.).
• Ability to prepare (hands-on) onshore pipeline engineering drawings independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong ownership and adaptability to dynamic project environments.
• Experience in Iraq field development projects.
• Experience in onshore pipeline constructability is highly desirable; familiarity/experience in offshore pipeline and subsea engineering is a bonus.

• Minimum Diploma, preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Pipeline, Mechanical or similar).
• Proven pipeline drawing software proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Microstation).

• Strong knowledge of pipeline drafting standards and industry norms.
• Proficient in codes and standards (ASME B31.4, B31.8; API standards).
• Experience with 3D design and visualization tools and 2D drafting.
• Familiarity with pipeline material specifications, line lists, and isometrics.
• Knowledge of HSE practices & requirements and risk assessment methodologies applicable to design and construction phases.
