Inspection​/Senior Inspection Engineer

Overview

ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.

• Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by management for the position.
• Establishes inspection and testing requirements.
• Develops and administers contracts for inspection surveys of existing facilities. Sets criteria for selection of inspection contractors.
• Reviews budget proposals for the refurbishment of vessels, tanks, pipelines, and other equipment.
• Cooperates and communicates with the Corrosion Engineer to investigate / resolve issues related to corrosion.

• B.Sc. Mechanical Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.

• 5 years inspection engineering in oil/ gas industry
