Petroleum Engineer - Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling and production operations. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing data and developing plans for efficient extraction of oil and gas reserves.
You will also be involved in designing and implementing new technologies to improve production processes. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial but not required.
- Conduct research and analysis to evaluate potential oil and gas reserves.
- Design drilling plans and oversee drilling operations.
- Monitor production processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop strategies to maximize production while minimizing costs.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production operations.
- Proficiency in software such as Petrel or Eclipse for reservoir simulation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid work visa for UAE.
