PMC Specialist Reservoir Engineer

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Specialist Reservior Engineer for our client ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi as part of our Construction Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

• The activities in carbonate reservoir aim to boost the field production capacity, sustain the plateau and managing the subsequent production decline to assure economical production for as long as possible. Despite the potential for increased production, there is significant subsurface uncertainty, especially in extended areas due to complex reservoir characteristics and distributions.
• The Specialist Reservoir Simulation Engineer (Field Development) will provide expert technical support to the team, ensuring project milestones are met on schedule to high standards (including best industry practices for field development, including high confidence of implementation of the recommended plan), while maintaining accuracy and efficiency and excellent record keeping.

• Lead the subsurface evaluation and Field development plan optimization for SELECT stage.
• Ensure consistent and coherent integration of all available data including (but not limited to) geological, geophysical, logs, RCAL and SCAL, production/injection data, pressure data, etc. during the field development plan evaluation.
