Wind Farm O&M Technician

Location: UAE (Onshore Wind Farm – Site Based)

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a hands‑on Wind Farm O&M Technician to support daily maintenance and operation activities at an onshore wind farm in the UAE.

Candidates with experience in power plants, solar PV, or industrial facilities who are willing to transition to wind energy are encouraged to apply.

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of wind turbines and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and repairing turbine faults, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Execute tasks requiring electronic board repair, component replacement, and soldering/welding skills
  .
• Carry out lubrication, tightening, cleaning, and other preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance campaigns.
• Complete maintenance checklists and work reports accurately.
• Follow site safety procedures, toolbox talks, and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Participate in safety training and emergency drills.
• Perform other site operational tasks as assigned.

• Technical diploma or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in power plants, solar PV, wind energy, or industrial maintenance

• Strong hands‑on skills
  , including repairing circuit boards, soldering, and basic welding.
• Physically fit to work at height and in outdoor environments.
• Intermediate and above English communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and in remote site locations.
