In this role, you will focus on assembling Siemens Energy GIS systems troubleshooting significant issues to ensure optimal system performance. You will perform various tests, interpreting construction drawings, and preparing detailed reports, all while adhering to EHS requirements. Your proactive approach will ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

• Assemble Siemens Energy Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), focusing on recent models like 8DQ1-6, 8DN8-2/5/6, and 8DN9, ensuring precise and efficient construction.
• Handle SF6 gas with expertise, conducting GIS CRM, SF6 gas purity, and leakage tests to maintain safety and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot and rectify major issues related to Siemens Energy GIS, ensuring systems operate at peak performance and reliability.
• Utilize GIS tools and equipment effectively, interpreting Siemens construction and assembly drawings and work instructions accurately.
• Prepare comprehensive installation and inspection reports, submitting task reports to the Know How Center (KHC) for documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain a strong awareness of construction site EHS requirements, including risk assessment, loss prevention, Zero Harm initiatives, and safety protocols for working at heights.

• Educational background in electrical discipline with at least 5 years of experience on Gas Insulated Switchgears and construction sites, demonstrating a solid foundation in electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with excellent command of English and the ability to network, negotiate, and influence effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently with minimal supervision, showing flexibility in handling multiple and diverse tasks.
• Effective problem-solving skills with the capability to perform well under pressure in time-critical situations.
• Sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs of diverse religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups, with proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, enabling effective documentation and reporting.
