The British School Al Khubairat is looking to employ a Secondary EAL Lead Teacher. This is a full time role and will commence 1st September 2026.We are rated Outstanding across all performance standards in both our local Government Agency inspection (ADEK) and that of British Schools Overseas (BSO);

The candidate will require a Bachelor of Education or other first degree with Inclusion and/or English as Additional Language components plus a PGCE. Training and/or substantial experience in English as an Additional Language is essential.

We are looking for a strong candidate who is appropriately qualified and highly experienced in teaching EAL to a range of age groups and ability levels. As a department we are always striving to develop and improve the support we provide. We are therefore looking for a dynamic individual who can push the department on by collaborating with teachers and parents to provide high quality intervention to our EAL students.
