Position: Elementary Coordinator - August 2026 Start

ADNOC Schools is currently seeking Elementary Coordinator. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School, Sas Al Nakhl, Abu Dhabi for August 2026 start.

Successful candidates will combine an excellent track record of effective leadership experience, developed in the UK, USA or other international settings, with strong inter-personal skills and cultural awareness with the ability to manage the demands and needs of a wide range of stakeholders from Board level to parents, teachers and Principals. Exceptional communication skills combined with being a visible leader and ambassador for the school are pivotal to this role.

The role requires high level strategic thinking combined with a firm grasp of how to ensure outstanding education outcomes across the school. Candidates must be committed to working in partnership with other schools within the group and developing ways to engage with strategic partners to support the work of the school, the group as a whole and the UAE’s wider education vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a high profile as an example of best and leading practice within the classroom and foster the high expectations to which the school aspires.
  • To lead, develop and monitor whole school assessment in conjunction with middle/senior colleagues.
  • Carry out regular Teaching & Learning reviews to include, lesson observations, work/mark book scrutiny, learning walks and progress/attainment scrutiny
  • Share responsibility for the analysis of key school performance data, to ensure priorities are appropriate and improvement in standards is promoted.
  • Oversee the development of effective timetabling, which meets and responds to the needs of students within the statutory frameworks and the resources available.
  • Coach and develop staff to maximise impact on effective teaching and learning.
  • Through liaison and guidance, work closely with curriculum leaders to ensure the best learning opportunities for children.
  • Actively include students to further enhance their learning opportunities and personal development.
  • Support the target setting process, including statutory procedures and targets for individuals and groups throughout the school.
  • Implement strategies to promote high standards of behavior.
  • Seek to develop and enhance a broad and rich curriculum which meets the needs of the range of students in the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes achieved from classroom practice.
  • Take a leading role in development of quality and manageable assessment practice throughout the school.
  • Lead development of a core subject throughout the school to ensure high quality teaching which support high standards.
  • To demonstrate a commitment to positive behavior management throughout the school acting as a restorative practice facilitator.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the delegated areas of responsibility to ensure the school meets statutory requirements in a highly effective and efficient manner.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the principal/line manager.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification
  • Leadership/Management
  • Administrative/Leadership certification
  • Demonstrable experience managing College Board Programming
  • 6 years’ experience, including 4 consecutive years teaching performance exceeds standards and expectations as evidenced by Performance Appraisal
