PRIMARY / ELEMENTARY TEACHER NEEDED IN ABU DHABI FOR AN IMMEDIATE START. Grade 4. A private American curriculum school is seeking dynamic and creative primary teachers to be part of a close and collaborative team of educators in expansive purpose built premises. It is a happy school that is ambitious and keen to build on its current strengths, enjoying a wonderful family atmosphere in which many teachers have developed professionally under the strong and supportive guidance of the current headteacher.

• Relevant teaching qualifications;
  American experience preferred but other backgrounds considered.
• Bachelor of Education in Primary or a Bachelor Degree Subject taught in the classroom with a teaching certificate in primary.
• Three years of teaching experience.
• Commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher.
• Commitment to principles of 21st Century learning.
• Demonstrate contemporary teaching methods and competence in integrating technology into the curriculum.
• Experience with Web 2.0 applications.
• Ability to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.
• Have all required documentation to allow for ADEK approval.

Monthly tax‑free salary of about AED
11 000 to AED
13 000. Free single accommodation (a flat not shared). Annual flights, medical insurance and an end of service gratuity.
