Instructor in Spanish Language

Overview

The United Arab Emirates University is seeking a full-time instructor to teach Spanish as a foreign language. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching and advising students at the undergraduate level. The job holder will select and/or prepare resources, plan effective teaching, and understand students' interests and cultural backgrounds. • Teach Spanish as a foreign language at the undergraduate level.
• Select and/or prepare teaching resources, plan for effective instruction, and assess student needs.
• Engage with students, understand their interests and cultural backgrounds, and advise as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit required application materials (cover letter, CV, teaching philosophy, list of courses taught).

• Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language or a related field.
• Experience in teaching Spanish language for academic purposes at the university level.

• Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language or a related field (same emphasis as required) with demonstrated university-level teaching experience.
