Specialist Pediatric Surgeon DOH

Talentspoc is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Pediatric Surgeon with a valid Department of Health (DOH) certification to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you will provide specialized surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents facing a range of surgical conditions. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing, treating, and managing surgical issues, thus improving the quality of life for our pediatric patients and their families.

As a Specialist Pediatric Surgeon, you will perform surgical procedures, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and engage with patients and their families to provide support and education throughout the surgical process. Your commitment to excellence and compassionate care will significantly impact the experience and outcomes for our young patients.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Surgery
• Valid Department of Health (DOH) certification to practice in the region
• Minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience in pediatric surgery
• Proficient in a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and their families
• Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Active medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education in pediatric surgery
