Nephrologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases. The Nephrologist will provide comprehensive care for patients with renal disorders, including dialysis management and kidney-related complications, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including CKD, AKI, glomerulonephritis, and nephrotic syndrome
• Evaluate and manage hypertension related to renal disorders
• Supervise and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
• Assess and manage electrolyte and acid-base disorders
• Provide pre- and post-care for kidney transplant patients (where applicable)
• Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and renal biopsies
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Provide emergency nephrology care, including renal failure and dialysis-related complications
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Participate in on-call duties as per hospital schedule
• Educate patients and families on kidney disease management and preventive care
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Specialization in Nephrology (MD / DM / MRCP / equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience (Consultant level may require more)
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to continuous medical education and ethical practice
• Hospital-based or specialized nephrology center
• May include inpatient, outpatient, and dialysis unit responsibilities
• On-call and emergency coverage as required
