Position OverviewAs an Oral and Dental Surgeon in a private healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating complex oral and dental conditions through various surgical procedures. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough evaluations and diagnose oral health issues using diagnostic tools
- Develop customized treatment plans aimed at addressing individual patient needs
- Execute a range of surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implants, and reconstructive surgeries
- Manage postoperative care, including monitoring recovery and addressing complications
- Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and proper aftercare
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dental surgery and best practices
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Active state dental license and board certification in Oral Surgery
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical surgical environment, preferably within a private healthcare facility
- Proficient in a wide range of oral and dental surgical procedures
- Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and ethical standards in surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic healthcare team
- Commitment to ongoing professional education and staying current with industry trends
