Oli Oli® was our first pioneering project - a childrens museum that redefined play and learning by creating immersive galleries for open-ended exploration. Building on this foundation, we are now bringing Hoppi® - a new play destination for families - coming soon to a new mall in Abu Dhabi.

Hoppi® is designed especially for children aged 2–8, combining active physical play experiences with engaging, hands-on exhibit zones. It is a space where children can play, imagine, and explore, while parents enjoy a safe, enriching, and welcoming environment.

Hoppi® aims to be a beloved family destination in Abu Dhabi, adding joy, creativity, and playfulness to the lives of families.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS ALL ABOUT

The Front Desk Executives are responsible for fulfilling Hoppi®s vision of creating awesome experiences and memories for children and families. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our company, welcoming and greeting guests. You will also act as a Hoppi® brand ambassador to coordinate front-desk activities, including providing information to guests, selling admission tickets and answering Hoppi®'s phone calls.

The primary objective for this position is to engage with all visitors in an empathetic, professional, thoughtful and joyful manner.

WHAT WE'LL TRUST YOU WITH

  • Be an ambassador for the Hoppi® brand; ensure that each visitors experience at Hoppi® meets or exceeds expectations, specifically through inclusive, culturally appropriate, positive and memorable interactions with a friendly and sincere approach
  • Learn about Hoppi® offerings, promotions, campaigns and events and communicate information about these with guests in an articulate and credible manner
  • Treat every visitor with respect and provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting them to the building and informing them of the exhibit areas and programs
  • Provide excellent guest service, and facilitate visitors experience and journey through a proactive and thoughtful interaction
  • Contribute to a positive, team-based, and visitor-first centric culture
  • Attend to guest queries, and complaints. Amicably resolve matters with any dissatisfied guests
  • Collect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestions
  • Recognize and report visitors trends
  • Answer phone calls, respond to queries/concerns/complaints in a positive manner, and direct relevant guest inquiries to the appropriate teammate
  • Sell Hoppi® merchandise to visitors
  • Keep an inventory of stock and front office supplies
  • Handle cash transactions between customers with various ticket sales
  • Receive and process all payments according to standard procedures; process credit and debit card in a seamless and effective manner
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures

Safety / Security

  • Provide a safe environment for all visitors, specifically for the children
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Hoppi®
  • Assist visitors in case of an incident or an emergency situation
  • Attend training and be prepared to perform emergency procedures (i.e. fire evacuation, accident reporting, etc)

Other Responsibilities

  • Working with other colleagues, proactively contribute to the success of any special events and programs designed to enhance the profile of Hoppi® within the community
  • Perform other duties and be involved in projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of Hoppi®s objectives

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Able to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Advanced course work or experience in customer service, family learning, or retail operations preferred.
  • Experience working with young children (ages 1-10) and their families in recreational settings, after school programs or classrooms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, adults, and large groups.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors.
  • Excellent grasp of the English language. Arabic is a plus.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated; thrives working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Lots of positive energy; respectful of diversity; patient and empathetic; friendly; courteous
  • Interest and enthusiasm for working with children and families.
  • Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors.
  • Adaptable to perform a variety of duties.
