KON is currently hiring experienced Steel Fixers and Formwork Carpenters for full‑time, on‑site roles in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The selected candidates will be responsible for executing reinforced concrete works in accordance with approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety standards, while ensuring precision, structural accuracy, and efficiency.
Steel Fixer Responsibilities- Perform steel fabrication and reinforcement fixing works
- Cut, bend, assemble, tie, and position reinforcement steel
- Carry out welding of rebar and steel components as required
- Read and interpret detailed structural drawings
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and structural integrity
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and site teams
- Comply with safety regulations and quality standards
- Construct, install, and dismantle formwork systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble shuttering for foundations, columns, beams, and slabs
- Ensure correct alignment and leveling before concrete pouring
- Follow approved drawings and technical instructions
- Work closely with steel fixers and site supervisors
- Maintain safety compliance on site
- Proven experience in reinforced concrete construction
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of steel fixing or formwork activities
- Experience in piling, shoring, or deep foundation projects is an advantage
- Good understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines
