Section Manager

Reporting to:
Project Manager and Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Section Manager to take ownership of a defined section of a major construction project, such as a block, tower or zone. You will be responsible for delivering your section from start to finish, ensuring quality, programme adherence and effective coordination across all disciplines.

• Translate overall project milestones into clear and achievable sectional targets
• Manage day to day delivery across civil, MEP and finishing works
• Coordinate design, engineering and site teams to ensure seamless execution
• Oversee and align subcontractors to sectional objectives and programme requirements
• Monitor productivity, track progress and provide accurate reporting
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans with Planning and HSE teams
• Conduct internal inspections prior to QA and QC sign off
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Lead and manage 4 to 5 engineers and multiple concurrent work fronts

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 7 years’ experience within the construction industry
• Strong cross disciplinary coordination experience across civil, MEP and finishes
• Proven ability to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously
• Strong planning awareness and technical problem solving capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Exposure to 4D or 5D BIM
