Civil Supervisor

Overview

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Supervisor as part of our Construction team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position will be full time onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

• CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT assures the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget. Using in-house construction management procedures and experience, provide continuity and consistency of construction management with quality assurance and reliable control.
• Oversees all aspects of field construction of small projects or an area or discipline of larger projects including direction of construction specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Oversees all aspects of field construction of small to medium sized projects or an area or discipline of larger projects including direction of construction specifications, budgets and schedules. Generally responsible for construction scope(s) with value up to $25M.

• Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience

• Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry

• Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Display both good judgment and leadership qualities
• Ability to work with timelines/targets
• Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required
• Excellent interpersonal organizational, communication and team building skills
