Overview
This role is responsible to provide comprehensive contract management and oversight to safeguard the interests of the Developers throughout the project's lifecycle, particularly in interactions with off-taker, EPC contractor, suppliers, and subcontractors. In addition to monitoring the EPC procurement and supply chain performance.
Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)- Administer all contracts and agreements during project execution, including handling payment claims, variation orders, and contract disputes.
- Responsible for verification of Monthly payment claims, timely issue of payment response and invoices from EPC contractors & vendors
- Maintain Project financial guarantees and insurances documents, necessarily follow up internal / external to ensure validity & authentication
- Assist Project Director for final accounts settlement with EPC Contractors
- Manage procurement categories including EPC, construction works, and OEM components - including Gas Turbines and associated Balance of Plant.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures, and flag any supply risks that may impact project timelines or business operations.
- Serve as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders for procurement activities in the CCGT project.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and provide timely advice to internal teams.
- Negotiate contracts and optimize pricing and terms with suppliers when/where needed.
- Drive savings through effective negotiation and procurement best practices.
- Prepare reports and cost analyses to support procurement decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management and strategic sourcing experience, preferably in the energy sector.
- Proven track record in vendor contract negotiations, including EPC contracts, supply agreements, and long-term service agreement
- Hands-on experience in procurement for construction and/or O&M of gas-fired power plants
- Industry experience in utilities and/or construction sectors is preferred
- Familiarity with SAP Material Management (MM) modules is a plus
