As a Corporate Travel Manager, you will lead and manage a high‑performing team to grow and acquire new business, devising compelling solutions that meet client objectives while driving revenue and delivering exceptional customer service. You will develop and execute the long‑term strategic business development plan, supported by an annual sales plan, to achieve targets for revenue growth, profitability, and market share, and represent the business in commercial negotiations by evaluating opportunities in line with the business unit's growth strategy.
In this role, you will- Define and deliver a 2-3 year business development strategy aligned with divisional and dnata Travel Group objectives to drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high‑performing business development team, fostering a collaborative, results‑driven culture aligned with the One dnata values.
- Own revenue, profitability, and budget targets, ensuring effective management of overheads, resources, and capital expenditure.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships and senior client relationships to grow market share and long‑term customer value.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively promoting the business across key markets, clients, and industry platforms.
- Oversee sales pipeline management, forecasting, annual budgeting, and monthly re‑forecasting using robust CRM and reporting tools (e.g. Salesforce).
- Ensure effective execution of sales and marketing initiatives and accountability for overall sales profitability.
- Represent the business at local and international trade shows, sales missions, and networking events as required.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and adherence to dnata Travel and Emirates Group standards.
- Oversee timely onboarding of new customers in line with contractual and service delivery requirements.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience in a sales, business development, or management function within travel, tourism, or events, with at least 5 years experience at managerial level.
- Strong understanding of the travel and tourism value chain with a proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated success in developing innovative partnerships and compelling customer value propositions.
- Advanced working knowledge of CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.
- Solid travel industry knowledge, including destinations, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with a logical, solution‑focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience working effectively in a multinational, multicultural environment.
You'll have an edge if you have:
- Fluency in Arabic.
