Position: Sales Manager – Mobility & Innovation Exhibition
Duration: February 2026 – March 2026 (Candidates based in UAE will be preferred)
Role PurposeThe Sales Manager is responsible for driving the commercial success of a large-scale Mobility & Innovation Exhibition through the development and execution of exhibition, sponsorship, and partnership sales strategies. This role owns all revenue-generating activities for the event, including exhibitor sales, sponsorship packages, and strategic partnerships.
Working closely with the Project Manager, who leads overall event delivery, and supported by the Project Coordinator, the Sales Manager ensures commercial objectives are fully aligned with operational planning and event execution. Reporting into the Head of Events, this role requires a commercially astute, relationship-driven professional with strong experience in international exhibitions and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy & Revenue Generation- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the exhibition, including exhibition space, sponsor ships, and partnership opportunities
- Own and deliver revenue targets, tracking performance and adjusting strategies as required
- Create compelling sales propositions and sponsorship packages aligned with the event’s strategic objectives and audience
- Identify new commercial opportunities and innovative revenue streams to support the growth of the event
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to contract negotiation and deal closure
- Build and manage strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and key industry stakeholders
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
- Ensure exhibitor and sponsor requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with delivery timelines
- Work closely with the Project Manager to align floor plans, exhibitor specifications, sponsorship deliverables, and timelines with operational delivery
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to support lead generation, sales collateral, and promotional campaigns
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for exhibitors and sponsors, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Support senior stakeholders with commercial insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations
- Lead contract negotiations with exhibitors and sponsors, ensuring commercial terms align with organisational policies
- Ensure all sales agreements, sponsorship entitlements, and deliverables are clearly documented and tracked
- Work with internal teams to ensure invoicing, payments, and commercial reporting are completed accurately and on time
- Monitor market trends, competitor events, and industry developments to inform sales strategy
- Gather exhibitor and sponsor feedback to continuously improve the commercial offering and client experience
- Contribute ideas and insights to support the long-term growth and positioning of the exhibition
- Experience in exhibition, sponsorship, or event sales
- Proven track record of delivering and exceeding revenue targets for large-scale exhibitions or conferences
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Experience working closely with project delivery and operational teams
- Highly organised, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in, both written and verbal (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to manage pipelines, forecasts, and commercial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales management tools
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for sales activities and event delivery
