Synopsis: As a Demand Manager at Etihad Airways, you will play a crucial role in maximizing revenue through accurate demand forecasting, in-depth analysis of demand patterns, market trends, and competitor strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute strategies that contribute to achieving network PRASK (Passenger Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer) targets.
Accountabilities- Revenue Optimization:
Achieve monthly revenue targets and maximize network revenue through accurate demand forecasting and strategic revenue management tactics. - Accurate Forecasting:
Precisely forecast demand, ensuring detailed mapping at multiple dimensions (e.g., Class, time of departure, day of week, Origin, and Destination), especially during peak periods and special events. - Peak Management:
Strategically manage revenue during peak times and special events to capitalize on demand fluctuations. - Competitive Analysis:
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities and threats and adjust strategies as necessary. - Performance Analysis and Data‑Driven Adjustments:
Track and analyse revenue performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and make data‑driven recommendations for improvements. Refine demand trends, validate system outputs, and ensure accurate Origin and Destination data to optimise revenue management inputs and network optimisation results. - Collaboration:
Work closely with all commercial departments, Network Planning, alliance, sales, e‑commerce, marketing and loyalty, to ensure pricing and revenue strategies align with overall business objectives. - Systems and Tools:
Utilise revenue management software and tools effectively to support decision‑making and optimise revenue opportunities. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue outcomes continuously. - Project Involvement:
Provide expertise in demand strategies for revenue management projects.
- Educated to degree level or with relevant analytical experience.
- 5 years working experience in a numerate and analytical role.
- High familiarity with airline systems, such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, DDS, and reporting tools such as Tableau, Zenz Tech.
