The Timing Executive is responsible for delivering accurate and seamless timing services for mass participation sporting events including swimming, cycling, running, and triathlon. This role oversees the programming, setup, operation, and breakdown of timing systems while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Reporting to the Timing Manager, the Timing Executive plays a key part in maintaining Gulf Multi Sport's reputation for precision, professionalism, and world-class event delivery.

• Manage end-to-end timing delivery for allocated events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Program and operate advanced timing systems to provide reliable results.
• Oversee the setup, testing, and breakdown of timing systems at events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or operational issues in high‑pressure environments.

• Develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance timing and results accuracy.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry technologies and practices.
• Contribute to process improvements within the timing and results function.

• Ensure all timing operations adhere to safe working practices and local regulations.
• Document and communicate health and safety requirements to team members.

• Work closely with event organisers, volunteers, and partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Cultivate trust and productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

• 3–5 years of experience in the organization or delivery of sports, cultural, or large‑scale live events, with exposure to mass participation events considered an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge with proven ability in computer systems and programming.
• Skills in SQL, HTML, CSS, networking, and Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of sports timing services and platforms (e.g., MyLaps, Race Result, Active).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Adaptability, creativity, and good judgment in dynamic situations.
• Passion for sport and community‑focused events.
• Valid UAE driver's licence (manual) and access to a personal vehicle.
