About the job SENIOR CONSULTANT LEAD (BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND FUNCTIONAL CONSULTING) Job Summary
The Senior Consultant is responsible for leading consulting & business requirement gathering, providing functional consulting expertise, managing stakeholder relationships, preparing for new features and initiatives, and supporting the identification and management of priorities and demand. The role is pivotal in bridging business needs with technology solutions, ensuring successful project delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Business Requirement Gathering:
- Lead workshops and interviews to capture and analyze business requirements.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements with clarity and precision.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Functional Consulting:
- Provide expert advice on business processes, system functionality, and solution design.
- Develop and present functional solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Support implementation teams with functional guidance and best practices.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular communication to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their requirements are considered throughout project life cycles.
- New Feature & Initiative Preparation:
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to prepare for new features and initiatives.
- Assess feasibility, impact, and readiness for proposed changes.
- Support the development of business cases and project plans for new initiatives.
- Priority Identification & Demand Management:
- Analyze business needs to help identify and prioritize initiatives.
- Manage demand by balancing resource availability, business urgency, and strategic objectives.
- Maintain a demand pipeline and support decision‑making processes for project selection.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance business value.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, functional consulting, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and project preparation.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with demand management tools and methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
