  • A dynamic role coordinating the administration, marina contracts, office administration, berth holder information, efficient filing procedures and other initiatives
  • A proactive role to engage with marina members and boat owners in all forms of communication, ensuring that their experience of paying dues and receiving official notification is at a high level
  • Organizing and maintaining a high standard of office efficiency, both in hard and soft copies of all documents, ensuring that the administration department is available for auditing on a regular basis
  • Ensuring marina office is a welcoming and efficient working environment
  • Overseeing filing and all reporting measures, including updating reports to external parties
  • Assisting owners and crews with arrival and departures, berthing contracts, payments and other services as they may reasonably request.
  • Team leadership, on-job training, scheduling and payroll
  • Identifying areas of facility improvement and researching best product/solution to satisfy the required improvement
  • Liaising with officials as required (e.g. Security, Coastguard, CID, etc).
  • Ensuring the office and marina environment is clean and tidy at all times, and taking whatever action is required to maintain this
  • Educating marina users and ensuring they obey the Marina Rules
  • Improving and implementing new administrative process
  • Responsibility for tracking berth contracts, payments and documentation
  • Booking and facilitating events and berthing contracts
  • Active involvement in all training programs and learning additional skills.
  • Assisting at special events, exhibitions, and promotions, on and off site.
  • Assisting the management and other staff in such other matters as may be reasonably required
  • Demonstrate and motivate administration personnel to be inspired to be accurate and accountable for their work, however repetitive it may sometimes be.
  • Demonstrate and champion great customer service and engaging members to be proactive and relaxed in account settlement.
