Key Responsibilities
* Assist the senior accountant in preparing, examining, and managing financial records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
* Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and classified.
* Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and accounts payable/receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and accuracy.## Requirements
* Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency with accounting software (such as Quick Books, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and reconciliation tasks.
* Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).## Benefits
