General Accountant - Travel Industry

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant to join a well-established company in Al Ain
. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support management in maintaining a strong financial control environment.

• Handle general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and budget analyses.
• Monitor company expenses and assist in preparing VAT returns and other statutory reports.
• Verify and reconcile supplier invoices, particularly related to travel bookings and services.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Support annual audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and record keeping of all financial transactions.
