Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Job Title:

Accountant

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the company’s overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, petty cash, and expense tracking.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Manage invoicing, billing, and follow‑ups for client payments.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all financial transactions and ensure proper filing of records.
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding budget tracking and financial planning.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations when required.

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial compliance standards.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Experience in the construction, contracting, or engineering industry.
• Familiarity with cost control, project accounting, and inventory reconciliation.
• Exposure to audit processes and financial analysis.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling financial information.
• Company transport will be provided.
