Property Maintenance | CEC Supportive | Mental Health

CEC, a subsidiary 501(c)-3, is looking for a full‑time Property Maintenance Technician. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Team Lead, the Technician will maintain and manage the upkeep of the properties in the southern region.

Benefit Eligible:

• Perform routine maintenance such as fixing building damage (window, door, or wall repair).
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
• Assure properties are kept occupied, safe, clean and in a well‑maintained condition.
• Prepare units for new residents after the previous residents have vacated.

• MUST have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• MUST provide two letters of recommendation from previous employers.
• At least 2 years working in a similar role.
• Physical strength, including the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Mobility, including the ability to climb ladders and fit into tight spaces.
• Knowledge of general carpentry.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems.
• Ability to use power and hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• General computer literacy.
• High School Diploma / GED.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy and professionalism.

Salary: $23.08 per hour.
