Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in patient care, including infection control and medication administration.
- Oversee the implementation of clinical protocols related to anatomy knowledge, sterile processing, catheterization, IV infusion, and emergency medicine.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and enhance patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ICD-10 standards.
- Provide training and education to nursing staff on behavioral health and emergency procedures.
- Address staffing issues or conflicts promptly to maintain a cohesive work environment.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience in a nursing management role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, and sterile processing techniques.
- Proficiency in medication administration and IV infusion protocols.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.
- Experience in team management with excellent communication skills.
- Background in emergency medicine and behavioral health is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while promoting a positive workplace culture.
