ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

We have an amazing training program to teach you everything you need to know to be a Starbucks Barista. Basic skills we look for include:

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) with reliable and prompt attendance
• Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to
  -10°F as needed
• Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties including Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
