AR Associate

The Billing Specialist is responsible for generating invoices, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions within the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Prepare, review, and issue invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner
• Process payments (checks, credit cards, ACH, wire transfers) and apply them to appropriate accounts
• Reconcile billing accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate customer billing records and documentation
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams to ensure accurate billing information
• Generate billing reports and assist with month-end closing activities
  
  Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Experience with ERP systems
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

$30 to $35 an hour

Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
