VCA Highlands Animal Hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our one-of-a-kind practice.

Schedule:

Full- time opportunity with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation: $20/hr and the starting range for technicians is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

* Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery

* Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs

* Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM

* Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics

* Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments

* Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care

* Maintain accurate patient medical records
