Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA.

16000 Johnston Memorial Drive, Abingdon, VA 24211.

Schedule:

Full time and part time. Shifts include 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, and 11:00 pm – 7:30 am; days may vary with rotating weekends required. Fixed pay rate: $13.50 per hour.

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies; shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings; cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers; disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as required; realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests; assists with spills and broken glass as needed.
• Contributes to a professional team environment and supports colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• No previous experience required (as stated).
