Stroke Specialist Clinical Lead

Are you a clinician with extensive stroke expertise and a passion for leading high‑quality, patient‑centred care? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Stroke Specialist Clinical Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering excellence across the stroke pathway – from hyper‑acute care through rehabilitation to safe, effective discharge planning.

Key Qualifications
  • Has advanced knowledge of stroke care and the end‑to‑end stroke pathway
  • Demonstrates strong clinical leadership and decision‑making
  • Can influence practice, drive improvement, and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Is committed to improving patient outcomes, flow, and experience
  • Has a clear understanding of discharge planning, system working, and community interfaces
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership across stroke services
  • Support and influence best practice, standards, and service development
  • Work collaboratively with MDTs, managers, and system partners
  • Champion safe, timely, and effective transitions of care
