We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a professional team within a growing organisation. This role focuses on providing financial support and analysis to aid decision‑making processes. Our client is a well‑established business within their sector. The company is based near Abingdon and offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies
• Contribute to cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Provide accurate financial data to support decision‑making processes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions

• Experience in an Assistant Management Accountant position or similar accounting role and looking for the next step
• Knowledge of management accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
