We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer – Precision Manufacturing in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Are you a skilled Quality Engineer ready to take the lead in a high-precision manufacturing environment? This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Quality Engineer to join a forward-thinking company producing advanced components for aerospace, medical, energy, and technology sectors.

As a Quality Engineer , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and improving quality standards, leading audits, resolving non-conformances, and ensuring customer requirements are translated into robust manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for a proactive Quality Engineer who thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What’s on Offer
£45,000–£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
4% matched pension (after probation)

What You’ll Do
Maintain and improve manufacturing quality standards
Lead audits, root-cause analysis, and customer quality investigations
Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality matters
Train operators in inspection techniques and quality systems
Manage calibration systems and quality documentation

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong mechanical engineering background
Confident interpreting complex engineering drawings
Experience with audits, non-conformance management, and calibration systems
