We are seeking a Senior Engineer (Commissioning) to work within our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP). You will collaborate with the project team to ensure that throughout the project life cycle, all MEICA and process commissioning activities are planned and delivered to the appropriate standards and in line with the accepted commissioning plan and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
Responsibilities- Owning and ensuring commissioning documentation is completed and available on the Common Data Environment, on a continuous basis, to demonstrate that testing requirements are fulfilled. This includes FAT, SAT, outage management plans, and ITPs.
- Developing the Design Commissioning Plan to suit the actual project implementation in collaboration with the Client commissioning representatives.
- Reviewing and signing off project ITPs, ensuring that they are managed through Kier's common data environment.
- Working with the supply chain onsite to fault find as and where required, ensuring activities are completed in a safe manner and in line with the project program.
- Leading the reliability and performance testing stage of the project, including the production and acceptance of a report highlighting compliance with the Client's objectives.
- Experience in a similar Commissioning role in Mechanical and Electrical plant, within the Water Industry.
- BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC qualified Mechanical or Electrical engineer.
- Competent judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant / equipment.
- Experience in a similar Commissioning role in Mechanical and Electrical plant, within the Water Industry.
