Salary: £28.62 - £37.08 per hour depending on teaching qualifications
Hours per week: Approximately 6 hours per week
Weeks per Annum: Various
Working pattern: Wednesday and Thursdays
Location: Abingdon Campus
Contract type: Fixed term until September 2026
Are you passionate about child development and experienced in early years education? Do you enjoy supporting adult learners to achieve their potential? We are looking for an enthusiastic Hourly Paid Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching on our Undergraduate Level Programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging learning opportunities.
- Provide tutorial and pastoral support to help learners achieve their goals.
- Prepare learning materials using both traditional and digital methods.
- Adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs and promote equality and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Level 4+ qualification in a relevant subject.
- Qualified Teacher (or for exceptional candidate, willing to qualify).
- Teaching experience with excellent delivery skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
- Commitment to learner success and ability to work with diverse groups.
- IT skills (Level 2 or equivalent).
- Experience teaching in post-16 or higher education settings.
- Links with employers in the early years sector.
