Salary: £30,666.96 - £35,126.96 per annum Term Time Only (£40,889.28 - £46,835.95 FTE)
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver a highly differentiated, person-centred curriculum aligned to individual education outcomes, enabling learners to achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure learners have equitable access to opportunities that prepare them for adulthood.
- Design learning that enables measurable progress and achievement, maintaining robust evidence against EHCP outcomes through effective recording and reporting.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality learning across creative and functional subjects for learners with complex cognition, learning and physical needs.
- Identify and remove barriers to learning through consistent application of individual support plans, risk assessments and protocols.
- Set and review ambitious long-term outcomes and SMART targets, monitoring progress through high-quality assessment and reporting.
- Promote literacy, life skills and independence, ensuring learning is relevant and meaningful to each learner.
- Embed therapeutic interventions and assistive technologies into learners programmes in a person-centred way.
- Lead effective classroom management, deploying learning and support staff efficiently.
- Plan and deliver enrichment activities, trips and visits in line with health, safety and safeguarding requirements.
- Act as Personal Tutor for a designated caseload of students.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, staff development and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, safeguarding, health & safety and data protection requirements.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as required by college leadership.
