We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants. If you would like to work Monday to Friday, term-time only, we would love to hear from you. We offer innovative, forward thinking and friendly staff, great team working and a commitment to staff training.

This role includes working closely with the class teacher and supporting both individual children with additional needs and groups of children across the provision. This role may involve 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN.
The successful candidate will:
- be happy providing a range of learning support to pupils
- be happy working in role which at times can be challenging and will require initiative and flexibility to suit the needs of the child/ren
- be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity
- work with a team of committed TAs and in collaboration with other teaching staff under the direction of the SENCo to deliver a tailored curriculum and specific intervention and support for children with high level additional needs.
A ‘can do’ attitude and sense of humour would also be useful!
There is also the opportunity to work within the school as a Lunch Time Assistant. This will be paid at £12.65 per hour.
Key Tasks include:
- Helping children with their lunch
- Supervision of pupils in the dining areas, playgrounds, or other parts of the school premises.
- To ensure standards of behaviour are maintained, in accordance with Caldecott School Behaviour Policy.
- To assist in dealing with problems arising from unruly behaviour and report such matters to the Headteacher or their designated officer.
- To assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, wiping down tables).
- To carry out other duties relating to lunchtime supervision as required by the Headteacher or their designated officer.
