Job Title:Commercial Building Automation Technician
Pay Scale:$25.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, performance, and on going training attendance.
Work Hours:8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1 hour lunch; some on call responsibilities to cover 24/7 occasional emergency needs; some weekends and evenings
Primary Job Function:To provide maintenance, repair, and installations on a wide variety of commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Provide feedback to Building Automation Manager regarding job status, customer feedback, technical training, inventory, and area needs.
Reports to:Building Automation Manager
Job Duties- Repair and replace existing equipment such as DDC, pneumatic, temperature and pressure sensors, transducers, transmitters, relays, motor starters, etc.
- Will require assisting other HVAC technicians and mechanics with projects and service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Will be required to shift attention on short notices and handle multiple responsibilities to satisfy customer needs.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Minimum of (2) years combined trade school or related field experience.
- Ability to use computer programs, including (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Preferred experience and certification in Niagara 4 framework, such as JCI, Honeywell, Vykon, or Distech products.
Salary: $25 - $40 per hour
