We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales experience is a plus). A Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and promoting a positive, productive environment. The role includes leading, coaching, and developing store employees; recruiting and retaining top talent; maximizing financial goals and managing customer relations; analyzing the store’s financial statements to ensure goals are met;
and adjusting as necessary.
Responsibilities also include supporting asset protection through inventory control, following company policies and procedures, securing customers’ loans, and using internal and external marketing tools to promote the business and attract new customers. The Store Manager will work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms at FFL locations.
Responsibilities Of a Store Manager Are- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly manner and rapidly addressing issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures are followed for asset protection.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise reporting.
- Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
- Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans issued.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up to date on product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and achieve firearms certification.
- May be asked to assist a customer in exterior parking areas or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in multiple locations, as business needs dictate.
- Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
