$16.00 to $23.00 per hour
This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in “fast-tracking” into a Store Management position. This role requires a minimum of 1 year retail management experience.

We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of Store Management experience. The role focuses on day‑to‑day operations, employee development, recruiting, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Hourly wage plus commission and a store‑performance bonus.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Assist in training and supervising store staff.
- Recruit and retain top talent.
- Open and close store, count cash drawers, maintain inventory, and ensure asset protection.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, and reporting.
- Analyze store financial statements; set and communicate profit goals.
- Ensure operating standards and First Cash standards are met.
- Manage loan qualification and purchase processes.
- Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
- Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.).
- Demonstrated supervision skills.
- Ability with firearms and firearms certification as applicable.
- Experience in outside customer service actions (outside building).
- Minimum age 18.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Will work 45+ hours per week; hours not guaranteed.
- Computer literate; POS and office machines.
- Multitask in fast‑paced environment.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Independent work with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and business sense.
