This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in “fast-tracking” into a Store Management position. This role requires a minimum of 1 year retail management experience.

We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of Store Management experience. The role focuses on day‑to‑day operations, employee development, recruiting, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Hourly wage plus commission and a store‑performance bonus.

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
• Assist in training and supervising store staff.
• Recruit and retain top talent.
• Open and close store, count cash drawers, maintain inventory, and ensure asset protection.
• Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, and reporting.
• Analyze store financial statements; set and communicate profit goals.
• Ensure operating standards and First Cash standards are met.
• Manage loan qualification and purchase processes.
• Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
• Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.).
• Demonstrated supervision skills.
• Ability with firearms and firearms certification as applicable.
• Experience in outside customer service actions (outside building).
• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Will work 45+ hours per week; hours not guaranteed.
• Computer literate; POS and office machines.
• Multitask in fast‑paced environment.
• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Independent work with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and business sense.
