Must be proficient as a circulator.
Must be flexible and may be asked to float to other units.
Must live 150 miles from the facility.
First-time travelers are accepted.

Description:

The candidate will provide nursing care in the labor and delivery recovery room.
They will assist with high-risk deliveries and general obstetric care.
The role involves monitoring fetal heart patterns and performing non-stress tests.
Responsibilities include administration of medications and blood products.
Candidates should be able to maintain central lines and start IVs.
They will assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
Knowledge of postpartum care and education for parents is necessary.
The nurse will engage in routine assessments and provide discharge teaching.

Experience with use of telemetry and external fetal monitoring is essential.
Knowledge of various neonatal assessments and care practices is required.
The candidate should be familiar with pain management techniques and anesthesia support.
Must adhere to safety and infection control procedures.
The nurse will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
