About the Position
The PACU Registered Nurse provides post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia. This role involves monitoring vital signs, managing pain, assessing airway and consciousness levels, identifying post-operative complications, and collaborating with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe recovery and optimal patient outcomes.

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)

• Minimum recent PACU or critical care experience (ICU/ER acceptable, if required by facility)

• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills

• Experience with post-anesthesia recovery, pain management, and emergency response

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
