Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join an LTACH ICU team in Texas, requiring ACLS and BLS certifications and at least two years of relevant experience.

• Work in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH)
• Care for ICU and IMC level patients with occasional med-surg patient flow
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratios up to 1:5 at peak
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Assignment at an LTACH facility focused on managing complex, high-acuity patients
• No differentiation in pay for local candidates
• Expected to participate in weekend staffing rotation

• Active TX or compact RN license in good standing with no disciplinary action
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of two years of acute care RN experience, with at least one year of recent relevant ICU experience
• Experience in ICU and intermediate care (IMC) settings
