Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work in outpatient surgery center PACU with no call, no weekends, and no holidays

• Maximum of 2-3 consecutive weekday shifts

• 2 years of experience required

• Pediatric experience strongly preferred

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Travel experience preferred

• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required

• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer

• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing

• Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation

• Skills include:
Phase I PACU, pre/post operative care, dysrhythmia recognition, conscious sedation management, pain assessment, airway management, and care for various surgical specialties including ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, and general surgery

• Must live outside 150-mile local radius

• Previous permanent staff must be gone 1 year to return as traveler
