• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2070–$2220 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state; must be in hand at submission)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS

• Proficiency with charting systems (Altera preferred; any charting system accepted)

• Must reside at least 150 miles from Abilene, TX facility

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance

• Resume and certification verification required at submission
OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients

• Demonstrate expertise in fire safety, cell saver, blood product administration, infection control, laser and radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time out), and wound management

• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: lobe resection, lung resection-thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, thyroidectomy, arthroscopy, fracture reduction, laminectomy/discectomy, ortho/spine, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and TURP

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Participate in on-call rotation as required for OR RN travel jobs

• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and standards
