Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work in outpatient surgery center PACU setting

• No call, no weekends, no holidays

• No more than 2-3 consecutive weekday shifts

• 2 years of experience in service line required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Texas nursing license required with submittal

• Travel experience preferred

• Altera charting experience preferred but not required

• Skills include ambulatory/outpatient care, Phase I PACU, pre/post operative care

• Experience with dysrhythmia recognition/management, conscious sedation, and pain assessment

• Work with various surgical specialties including ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics

• Handle emergency medications and management of pediatric patients

• Airway assessment and placement of oral/nasal airways

• Knowledge of malignant hyperthermia protocol and RASS scale required

• Must complete facility drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing

• Complete orientation modules averaging 6-8 hours during orientation

• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
