Overview
Ensures the continuous, effective operation and improvement of activities within Surgical Nursing Services. Integrates departmental services with the hospital's overall functions to meet established organizational goals.
Requirements- Masters Degree in Nursing (waivable by VP of Nursing)

- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Nurse Executive Advanced Certification (required within 2 years of hire as director)
- Effectively interacts with community and consumers.
- Advocates for quality and cost-effective care.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
- Possesses excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
- Maintains professional appearance and decorum at all times.
- Capable of handling confidential information.
- RN License (required)
